Christmas was very special this year! Arlen wrote an adorable Christmas letter to Santa asking for a hug and saying how much he loved baking his cookies. Their excitement Christmas Eve with my family, Christmas morning with us, and then Christmas evening with Andy’s parents was thrilling and heartwarming!! I’m just now finding the time to post about it and I love that! My heart is full! Merry Christmas to everyone!! ❤️❤️🙏

What a year! Here’s to 2018 and may 2019 be even better!! I can’t believe how much has happened this year and how much I have to be thankful for! From swimming in the Austin pro series meet 6 months post birth in January, to the realization that I needed a slower comeback after the 2nd child. To the exploration of how other moms succeed and heading to train in Denmark with @jeanetteottesens and her growing family in September and to creating @tothepowerofmom. To being fully present in the process and trying my hardest to balance being the mom I want to be and the athlete I strive to be! Then to finishing off the year competing at Nationals in December and racing my first 100 free and 100 fly since the Rio Olympics!! I’ve learned a lot in 2018, and I know I will do the same in 2019!!!
