Our Healthy Halloween Treat

Halloween_MKTWith Halloween right around the corner, the TYR team was excited to brainstorm a few fun treats for the office. After a trip to the grocery store we realized that the best way to get our healthy, sugar-fix would be through fruit. So, we decided to try making our very own Snack-o’-Lantern Fruit Cups. And believe us when we tell you, this recipe definitely did the trick!

Whether you’re gearing up for a Halloween party or just in the mood to get festive, these quick and easy treats are the perfect snack. Ingredients and Tools You’ll Need:

  1. Medium size oranges
  2. Interior fruits of your choosing–(We included bananas, blackberries and raspberries. You could also add healthy nuts like almonds, pistachios or walnuts.)
  3. A small carving knife
  4. Paper towels & napkins
  5. A cup or mug to drain your orange —(Save the spare juice for a refreshing, post-practice drink.)
