The 2016 Summer Games have officially come to a close, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything team TYR has accomplished.

“Momma on a Mission” Dana Vollmer brought home three medals, earning gold for her swim in the 4 x 100m medley relay, silver in the 4 x 100m free relay and bronze in the 100m butterfly.

“After taking two years off, Vollmer admits, “no one expected me to come back, no one kind of knew if I could make it back in time, so I felt like for the first time in my life, just really standing up there, because I loved it, and because I wanted to race.””- ABC News

Olympic newcomer Kelsi Worrell also brought home her first gold medal for an impressive swim in the preliminary round of the 4 x 100m medley relay.

Breaststroke specialist Cody Miller swam his way to the podium more than once throughout the Games. In addition to earning bronze in the 100m breaststroke, he was also a member of the gold medal winning men’s 4 x 100m medley relay team.

2x Olympian and 2012 silver medalist Jimmy Feigen earned his first gold medal this time around for his swim in the preliminary round of the 4 x 100m free relay.

Last, but certainly not least, Danish sensation and 4x Olympian Jeanette Ottesen earned the bronze medal for her swim in the women’s 4 x 100m medley relay.

In addition to our athletes making a phenomenal splash in Rio, the TYR Sport Avictor seemed to certainly stand out, as well. If you haven’t seen our latest behind-the-scenes video on the making of our legendary tech suit, check it out below.
